[How to] Make Life Suck Less
There’s no escaping the fact that life can at times suck. But are there things you are not doing to make it suck [significantly] less?
In this book you will be asked to not only listen but to actively take part.
You will be required to pause and think about the answers to questions directed to you personally. Some tasks will ask you to write down your answers and personal insights and, in some incidences, you will also be asked to take physical action within your own life.
These tasks are rooted in psychological techniques and scientific evidence to help you build physical and psychological resilience. They are designed to help you discover things about yourself so you can ditch habits of thought and behaviour that are not serving your health or happiness.
To be maximally effective, you must be required to do two simple things:
- Take part and engage
- Be honest with yourself
